Osama is dead, or is he?!

I try to stay away from these types of topics. Really, I do. However, I just can't fight it any longer. I've been trying.

Last night, we got word that Osama Bin Laden had been killed. I saw a post on Facebook about Obama making an emergency announcement. Never did I think it would be to announce the death of Osama Bin Laden. I thought maybe it might have had something to do with all the storms down south. Boy was I shocked!

As soon as the news broke out, everyone started talking about how we were safe and that our troops should come home now. Wrong. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! We are far from safe. Osama Bin Laden was the leader of Al-Qaida. He has trained so many people to take his place at this point. There are suicide bombing training camps. We are the furthest thing from safe! Now that Osama Bin Laden has been killed, we may be facing some repercussions. His people are going to want to punish the American people. The question is, are we facing more terrorist attacks in the United States? Will they go after our military? Al-Qaida is unpredictable if you ask me. There really is no saying what they will and won't do at this point. They just lost their leader. I believe it's only a matter of time.

Now, I am seriously questioning the timing of this and some coincidences. Next year is election year. Obama wants to be re-elected. However, he has been losing in the polls for re-election. Now, Osama Bin Laden gets killed. Obama is in office and is being looked at as the hero because he is the President in office. The media is making it seem like Obama was the one who killed Osama Bin Laden. Obama is not the one who killed him. The credit for the death of Osama Bin Laden belongs to our military. Obama can't even fix our economy, which if you recall was why Obama was about to shut off the military pay. He wanted to take away the pay of our entire military, including those responsible for the killing of Osama Bin Laden. Let's also keep in mind that Obama couldn't come and make his speech on time. They kept saying two minutes. An hour later, he finally made his speech. Apparently, he was still writing his "remarks." Can we say disorganized and unprepared? Just a little. I mean, don't say you're going to make a speech at a certain time if it's not even written yet!

Here is where I don't even know what to say. Osama Bin Laden was buried at sea within 24 hours of his death "due to his religious preferences." Really? Since when do we care about the most wanted terrorist's religious preferences? I don't understand why he got a funeral at all where religious preferences even mattered. I think that Westboro Baptist Church should have saved their funeral protests for this event! I do not condone or support Westboro Baptist Church. I am a Baptist and they are by far no Baptist. They are only a church in the loosest of terms if you ask me. I'm just saying that Osama Bin Laden's religious preferences should not have been taken into consideration. What about when we killed Saddam Hussein? We got comfort in knowing that Saddam Hussein was definitely dead. There were pictures and even a video of his hanging. So, why did we not get the same or similar to get peace in knowing that Osama Bin Laden is definitely dead? Why did he get buried at sea so quickly? What is being hidden? Was it really Osama Bin Laden? How will we as Americans ever get peace in this? As of yet, no pictures are being released. I have a funny feeling they won't ever be released. Something is being protected. I just don't know what.

This entire situation is just really messed up if you ask me. Obama is losing in terms of getting re-elected. Osama Bin Laden gets killed. Within 24 hours of his death, he gets buried at sea due to his religious preferences. We got no proof. We got nothing. The closest thing we have are some tweets from a guy who heard it all. I want pictures. I want proof. I want things we will never get because he suspiciously got buried at sea within 24 hours of being killed. What I want to know is why Osama Bin Laden was not interrogated by our intelligence? Now that he is dead, there is so much we may never know. He may not have answered our questions, but it would have been worth a shot.

Ugh! I'm done. I guess now I wait for the political debate this will ensue. I know not everyone will agree with me. However, these are my thoughts and opinions. Don't knock me for having them.

I completely agree with you hun! I couldn't have said it better myself! (Which is why you're the writer not me)

I just get so mad watching the news and thinking about this situation. I could continue to add to this, but I won't. I said enough I think.

Yeah, you've said enough. Saying more would just make you seem like a psycho rambling political freak lol
