What Grinds My Gears: Fake Friends

What really grinds my gears are fake friends. I cannot stand people who pretend to be your friend and act friendly when you're around, but then turn around and talk about you. I also can't stand the ones who just randomly decide to cut you out of their life and refuse to speak to you when you did nothing wrong. I have dealt with my fair share of fake friends and because of all the fake friends I have wasted my time and energy on, I am much more selective on who I call a friend these days. I think the funniest thing is I have all these fake friends from my past who I knew in person and now I have a greater number of trustworthy and true friends whom I currently only know online. I am hoping I can meet them all someday.
